Computer Survey on Personality and Judging Emotions

 

The following survey is part of a study on personality and judging emotions, conducted by Dr. Richard Lippa, Department of Psychology, California State University, Fullerton, CA 92834. Completing this survey typically takes about 15 minutes.

This survey asks a number of questions about demographic information (e.g., your age, gender, etc.) and your personality.  The survey also presents 36 photographs of people’s eyes and asks you to judge which of four words best describes what the person in each photograph is feeling.

Participation in this study is completely voluntary. You must be at least 18 years old to participate. Your responses to this survey will be completely anonymous, and the data collected will be used for research purposes only.

If you are uncomfortable answering any questions in this survey, you may choose not to answer those questions. Please respond honestly and conscientiously to the questions you do answer.  You have the right to cease participation in this study at any time without penalty.

After you complete the survey, you will have the opportunity to send an e-mail message to make comments and request further information about this study.  

If you are an CSUF Introductory Psychology (Psych. 101) student, you will get information, after completing the survey, that tells you how to get subject credit for participating in this study.
