Instrument Selection Exercise

For each master's project or action research project complete the following exercise. 

1.  Briefly state the problem.

2.  State the hypotheses. 

3. Describe the selection of the research sample. 

4. Describe the intervention (independent variable).

5.  Describe an instrument appropriate for collection of data pertinent to the hypotheses. 

6. For each selected instrument report:

            A.  Name, publisher, and cost

            B.  Description of the instrument

            C.  Validity and reliability data

            D.  Type of participants for whom instrument is appropriate

            E.  Instrument administration requirements
