Omar Ezzeldine, Ed.D., Assistant Principal   Tustin Unified School District
Dr. Ezzeldine is the Assistant Principal at Tustin High School.    After eight years of working as a teacher and administrator at all grade levels in different private schools, he has recently turned his attention to public education.  His research was focused on the factors at schools that promote teacher retention.  His public service extends beyond just schools as he has recently been appointed as finance commissioner for the city of Irvine.

Anthony Jackson, M.A.,  Co-Founder/Co-Director, Culture & Language Academy of Success 
Mr. Jackson is Co-Director and Chief Student Advocate at Culture and Language Academy of Success, a fiscally independent public charter school in Los Angeles. His experience includes 18 years as an educator, 16 of which were as both an elementary classroom teacher and as a central office administrator in the Los Angeles Unified School District. His current education interests include instructional technology, culturally responsive pedagogical approaches, and developing new visions for educational leadership in low performing urban school districts.


Elaine Liu-Grondin, Ph. D.,  Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Liu has been an educator for 25 years and taught in several departments.  She has a Masters in Education, a Pupil Service Credential and a Cross-cultural, Language and Academic Development Certificate.  She spent a year studying with a cultural anthropologist and particularly enjoy working with ELD students from various cultures.  Her experience includes organizational consulting,  human resources management, and as a therapist in private practice .


Shelly Mason,  Principal   El Tejon Unified School District
Shelly Mason is the educational leader at El Tejon School, a rural school in Lebec, California that serves 550 students in fourth through eighth grades.  After earning a degree in Linguistics and certification as a teacher of the hearing impaired, Mrs. Mason taught junior high Reading and English for ten years.  She then implemented and coordinated an innovative program in Technology Education before assuming her current role as principal at El Tejon School.


Anna Mattos-Massey,  Coordinator of Special Education in Fairfield-Suisun USD

Anna Mattos-Massey is Coordinator of Special Education for Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District in Fairfield, California.  Ms Mattos-Massey has been a special educator for over twenty-five years.  Her duties include coordinating and supervising special education programs for five preschool programs and seventeen elementary schools, serving a wide range of students with mild learning disabilities to severe autism.  She also serves as an Alternate Dispute Resolution Facilitator for neighboring districts.


Scott Prell, M.S., P.P.S.,  Counselor-Coordinator, Riverside County Office of Education

Mr. Prell's pre-administration experience included two internships (each involved School Counseling and Marriage, Family & Child Counseling) and three years of counseling Kindergarten - 8th grade students.  His administrative experience includes 1 1/2 years as a high school Dean of Students.  For the past two years, Mr. Prell has served as a Counselor-Coordinator for an innovative $9 million Student Assistance Program throughout Riverside County, California, USA.  Mr. Prell lives the creed, "Where kids come first!"


Debra Quan, San Rafael City Schools, Director of Human Resources
Debra Quan is Director of Human Resources for the San Rafael City Schools District.  Her experience includes 15 years of teaching (K-5).  As a recipient of the Golden Bell Award, Debra is a life long learner who continues to strive for excellence in her leadership role.

Chuck Seligman, MAT, Assistant Principal, Parsons Junior High School in Redding
Mr. Seligman is the Assistant Principal of Parsons Junior High School in Redding, California.  He was honored at the 2003 Enterprise Elementary School District Middle School Teacher of the Year and as Assistant Principal served as district level project manager who coordinated and presented staff development in school management computer applications.
