Upon satisfactory completion of this course, you will be:

1)     Able to perform simple chemical computation and visualization of properties of molecular and macromolecular systems

2)     Sufficiently familiar with the elements of programming to carry out calculations and simulations to illustrate modern chemistry and biochemistry

3)     Adept at using computers to acquire and process data, carry out statistical characterization of the data and perform statistical tests

4)     Adept at using computers to graphically display data (visualize and model) in a variety of representations

5)     Skilled at using the Internet to carry out literature searches, locate published articles, and access major databases
