Palestine

This is a checkpoint in the West Bank set up by the Israeli
military. The Israeli government regulates the movement
of Palestinian citizens through these checkpoints. The
wait can be in excess of 4 hours, blocking food, medical and
educational supplies from reaching Palestinian communities,
and preventing families from getting home.

This is a bypass road between Bethlehem and the Gilo settlement. It
is a Jewish only road, paid for with American tax dollars.
This is Salim. This is
his 3rd house to be destroyed by the Israeli military.
A PeaceNow demostration in front of Ariel Sharon's
house. There is recognition of the plight of
Palestinians even among Israeli citizens, as this photograph
illustrates.
