Professor Carleen Ibrahim

"What we become depends on what we read after all the professors have finished with us.  The greatest university of all is a collection of books."--Thomas Carlyle

March is devoted to health issues.  It is American Red Cross Month, Mental Retardation Awareness Month, Poison Prevention Awareness Month, and National Nutrition Month.  March is also a time for celebrations of history with Women's History Month, Irish-American Heritage Month, and Deaf History Month.

An Irish Blessing

May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,

And the rains fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

On the lighter side, March is the time to celebrate International Mirth Month, Keep Your Shoelaces Tied Month, National Craft Month, and National Umbrella Month.
