SUMMARY I have international experience in administration, teaching and consulting for academia, business and government. I offer skills in operations research, statistics, production planning, and management information systems.
EXPERIENCE:
DOMESTIC
1995 - Present: CHAIR, Department of Management Science/Information Systems, California State University, Fullerton. (ACTING CHAIR in 1993). As chair I have instituted an Advisory Board for our MIS program and a semiannual department newsletter. Over a dozen new courses were developed, two in-house training programs at local businesses established, and an off-campus masters program initiated. Enrollments in our undergraduate and master's programs have increased by over 25% per year under my chairmanship. The department currently serves 730 FTES and consists of 25 full-time and 16 part-time faculty.
1977 to Present: PROFESSOR, Department of Management Science/Information Systems, California State University, Fullerton. I have taught courses in management science, statistics, and information systems.
1981 - 1985: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, Center for Professional Development, School of Business Administration and Economics. California State University, Fullerton. As Executive Director of this program I built it up from a small money losing operation to one generating over a quarter of a million dollars a year in revenue and gross profits of over $25,000 per annum.
