The samples below were created to fulfill the requirements of the
Faculty Development Center’s Summer Training Institute Summer 2007.  These samples will also be used to demonstrate to interested members of the Pollak Library’s Reference and Instruction Teams some possible methods for revision of the Pollak Library’s Library Survival Skills Tutorial with a goal of reducing the text-heavy nature of the site.  This revision would ideally be a group effort.  We would need to address issues related to 508 Compliance before this project could be implemented.

An example of a sound file:  some conceptual text might be provided as a sound file in addition to the text-based instruction.  Interested users could choose to listen to the narration rather than read through the text.  Sound files might also be used to enhance tables or other types of visual information.
